Young ProLog Workshop 2025

On February 28th, 2025 the first Young ProLog Workshop hosted by the Austrian Operations Research Society’s working group on Production&Logistics took place. Around 30 participants came together at the University of Vienna, representing the young scientists in the field from all over Austria. Two inspiring key note talks were given by Claudia Archetti (University of Brescia) and Fabien Tricoire (Satalia) on theoretical and applied research projects in production and logistics. Twelve presentations by young OR researchers allowed to gain an insight into current research topics in the field. Coffee brakes and lunch offered the possibility to get in contact and enlarge the scientific networks.

The organizers Margaretha Gansterer, Pamela Nolz and Sophie Parragh thank all participants and look forward to the next workshop (planning has started …)

Call for Abstracts

The Young ProLog Workshop 2025 hosted by the Austrian Operations Research Society’s working group on Production&Logistics will take place at University of Vienna on February 28th, 2025. The workshop is meant to connect young researchers (PhD students and early-stage PostDocs) in the field of Production and Logistics and give them the opportunity to present their current work. Presentation of work in progress is encouraged as well as participation only, especially for early-stage PhD students.

Inspiring keynote talks will be given by

  • Claudia Archetti, Professor at University of Brescia, Italy
  • Fabien Tricoire, Optimisation Scientist at Satalia, Vienna, Austria

Organizers: Margaretha Gansterer, Pamela Nolz, Sophie N. Parragh
